Farewell to Fr. Sean

On behalf of the Parish of Bantry, we would like to thank Fr. Sean Crowley for all his work in the parish for the past five years. We wish him every happiness and success in his new Ministry to the Irish Army in Collin’s Barracks.

As Parish Priest, I would like to thank him for all the help and support that he gave me, before and after my arrival in Bantry and in the subsequent months that we worked together. I personally wish him every success in his new appointment.
Fr. Martin

Note of Gratitude

As I said last weekend change is inevitable in life, and I am found in the midst of change as we begin the summer. It can bring so many memories flooding back, or it can bring anxieties about the future, and we could miss what God gives us; the present moment. The present gives me great gratitude to one and all, for the time I was given in Bantry parish, a time that will be inscribed in my heart.

May priests for many years to come find in this parish the same faith, love, welcome and support you gave to yours truly.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand
(Until Heaven).
Love and God bless,
Fr Sean Crowley.
